Euroshow organized the dragon boat world championships in Szeged with the participation of over 3000 competitors from 30 countries. The organization of the event took about one year; in addition to ensuring the necessary conditions required by the sport and implementing the sports event itself, we were in charge of the complete communications, technical, accommodation, logistics and catering background, as well as the management of television broadcasts and international press work. The event, which took place in the heart of the city on river Tisza as well as the Olympic Center of the Maty brooklet, generated significant touristic revenue for the town of Szeged, and enthusiasts of water sports could even take home with them the iconic paddle dragon Simi, the official emblem of the event, as a souvenir. According to IDBF management, the organization of the event exceeded all prior expectations.
